Our Daylight Space - 2408 Converse St Studio

After a year of design and renovation, our new daylight rental studio is available for your next still or motion shoot. This space is awash in light. With over 40 feet of south facing windows, natural light can be used to illuminate your entire set. The rental studio also features a wide open floor plan unobstructed by columns allowing for one large set or multiple sets for your production. Other amenities include a full kitchen, dressing room and make-up area, producer's desk, wifi, stereo system, and 14 ft ceilings. California Sunbounce - Sun Swatter

The SUN-SWATTER - the mobile shade on the long pole - is the perfect tool when there is too much or unwanted light. The exclusive development by CALIFORNIA SUNBOUNCE (patent pending) looks like an oversized fly-swatter and enables you to make the shade follow the model's movements. Ideal for exposures in which you want to emphasize the image's dynamic quality by means of blowing hair or clothing.
With the SUN-SWATTER  you produce about 2.5 square meters of shade between the glaring sun and your model. No tripod or assistant will impede your image composition since the SUN-SWATTER can be attached to a boomstick (a type of pole) that extends to about 350cm, giving the shade the appearance of an oversized fly-swatter. It allows you to access the most difficult places, even over obstacles.

Zacuto - Precision Shooter Kit

The Precision Shooter allows users to quickly go from run’n gun type shooting to studio shooting.  With the Precision Shooter, users can go from tripod to handheld in seconds, plus it gives users the ability to mount and power an on-board monitor. The rig alone weighs 7.5 Ibs and offers five points of physical contact.

Pictured here and included is the Marshall HDMI monitor, Z-Finder, Z-Focus, and V-Mount battery to power the monitor.  The Z-focus adapter has a new flippable design so you can quickly remove the follow focus and flip it from the operator to the assistant side in seconds. It also has a reversible feature which allows you to quickly reverse the direction of the follow focus drive unit so it rotates in the opposite direction which is useful when focusing Nikon lenses.  Tripod and video head are not included.
